Man using laptop computerThe Dangers- Depending on your computer settings it may record which sites you have visited in it’s internet dropdown toolbar, and in it’s recent history or recent documents sections. It can be easy for another user of the computer to see which sites you have visited, and to click on those sites to get an idea of the content.

Some web and email browsers store History and other settings in specific
folders, quite apart from where the main software program is located. These
folders can sometimes be relocated to a USB stick, flashdrive, memory card or
similar portable storage device and completely removed from the computer when
not being used, thereby affording some security against viewing by other
parties. Downloads and other saved material can also be stored on these
portable devices.

It is also possible to encrypt and/or password protect the
data stored on a portable storage device, so that no-one without the password
can see what is on there. Of course, having encrypted and password protected
material itself can raise questions and introduce its own issues.

Certainly
there are techniques out there to better afford privacy to sensitive material,
apart from deleting History.

In the information about deletion
Passwords are automatically deleted. Can you
re use the same passwortd or do these have to be changed once used

Thanks for your comment- I believe you can reuse the original password- by
clearing your computer\\\'s history you ensure that the password
isn\\\'t stored on your computer, but the password will still be
recorded on the website. Hope that answers your question.
Cheers, Ben
