Looking for a place to have HIV/STI Testing After Hours?

The WA AIDS Council (WAAC) runs a confidential, free, medicare-based HIV/STI testing clinic for men from Monday to Friday. The clinic was established to give guys an easy, fast and sexuality sensitive option for testing. The clinic runs out of WAAC’s office which is at 664 Murray Street, West Perth.

We have decided to extend our opening hours on Tuesdays and Wednesdays due to guys’ feedback that it would be good to be able to come and get a test after work. Clinic hours are now Monday 9am-5pm, Tuesday 9am-6pm, Wednesday 9am-6pm, Thursday 9am-5pm, Friday 9am-5pm. We are hoping the extra after work hour on Tuesdays and Wednesdays will make it even easier for you to keep up with regular sexual health testing. For other after hours HIV/STI testing options don’t forget WAAC’s sauna clinic at Perth Steamworks (corner of William and Forbes Sts, Northbridge). The sauna clinic is an anonymous drop in clinic on Mondays 3-5pm and 7-9pm. We are also there from 7-9pm Friday 5th September, Friday 19th September, Friday 24th October, Friday 14th November, & Friday 28th November. The Project X Team from the Gay/MSM Program at the WA AIDS Council adopts a peer education model in our health promotion, outreach and education. All our programs are run by Gay/MSM guys and one to one peer support is also available.

    We offer a variety of workshops run by gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men. The Workshops are about exploring our sexuality and making the most of our choices.
