Do you think you've been exposed to HIV?

hivrise.jpgPost-exposure prophylaxis or PEP is a course of anti-HIV drugs that is taken soon after possible exposure to HIV infection. These drugs may help reduce the risk of acquiring HIV after sexual exposure (unsafe sex or broken condom), sharing of injecting equipment or a needle stick injury. It is important to remember that PEP is not a cure for HIV/AIDS or a substitue for practicing safer sex. Download the PEP Pamphlet for more information.
