When and where to get a sexual health test

sexualhealth.jpgIt’s important if you are having sex with more people than your regular partner that you have regular STI check-ups. A good rule of thumb is at least every 6-12 months; this may be increased if you are having regular casual sex, the type of sexual activity you are having and whether it is protected or not. Many STI’s can be present without having any symptoms, and your chances of contracting HIV are significantly increased if you have a STI.
