Where to from here?

thourghtful3.jpgBeing a man who has sex with men or gay can be difficult in our society, as there can be a lot of pressure on us to conform to a particular way of being a man. What if you live in a small country town and everyone has known you and your family for generations? What if your family has strong religious beliefs that dictate how you should live? Or you come from a different culture and you're the eldest in the family and expected to set the example for the rest of the family? How will you cope with all this going on as you struggle to find out who you are sexually?

You've found this website somehow and maybe you are looking for answers. We'd encourage you to talk to someone who can listen to you in a non-judgemental, open and accepting manner. You may currently feel disgusted, frightened or surprised that you are attracted to other men and fear someone might find out. If you feel that having a chat may help, you can call the Mensline or chat online to one of the guys at CyberReach. Or maybe you would like a referral to a more formal setting once again contact us and we can point you in the right direction. You might also find our Support section may also be useful.
